FTTH Optical Receiver FWR-8610GSD (Metal Case)

FTTH is final development goal of broadband access. FTTH Mini Node FWR-8610GS/D mini type optical receiver suited the target's terminal product. It adopt low power receive, technology of optical control AGC, can satisfy the demand of receive individual 1550nm CATV signal, setting the LED indication light (≥-15dBm) on panel to monitor optical power.

 

FEATURES

Power supply connection

Power In: It is external sources input ports. First, connect DC+6V external sources line to local DC IN port. Then, insert DC+6V external regulated power supply to AC100~240V, the light on panel on, means power supply is in normal work.

Fiber insert and out

Before insert please clean APC connector with alcohol swabs. Then connect the concave of adapter and convex of fiber end. When optical signal in, the light of "OPTICAL(≥-12dBm)" become from red to green, means optical part is in work. 

"OUT" is the output port of PON signal, local receive is only CATV signal of 1550nm.

Adjustment of RF output level

RF Out: It is RF output port. If possible, use field strength meter to monitor before using. It is control by AGC, when optical signal receive -9~2dBm, output 2RF: 2x80dBuv , optical signal less than -9dBm, level also decline.

The relation is optical signal 1dB, RF2dB. The attenuator has adjust to Mix when the device send out. When output level is deviate with design demand, please adjust RF LEVEL (0~-15), till it can meet your design demand.

Notes for install and adjust

  • FWR-8610G is inside instruction. Can not use in easy to be wet place; need enough space to heat dissipation if install in inside; the shield network of output cable should ground connection and less than 4Ω
  • Pigtail input and cable output must reserve some length, reduce the chance of accidents. If used temporarily, please do not remove sealing.
